Future of
the workforce
Understanding the future of the workforce is vital to economic growth and sustainability.
My focus has been on recognizing emerging technologies and trends, and empowering teams to work more efficiently and effectively.
As a global, multilingual citizen, I have developed a strong capability in engaging and empowering a diverse and ever-evolving workforce. This has led me to gain significant insights into gender and generational parity. I’m also deeply committed to mentoring young women, equipping them with the skills necessary to advance in their careers. Volunteering with organizations like Reach Mentoring and Promise of a Generation has been a rewarding part of this journey.
Having earned my engineering degree from Oxford, I have navigated and thrived in fields typically dominated by men. My roles at McKinsey & Company, GE Corporate, the Dubai Government, Oliver Wyman, and in my capacities as a consultant advisor and podcast host have all contributed to my efforts in championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Empowering women has always been a central theme in my career. At GE, I led the Women’s Network for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, focusing on updating policies and advocating for pay parity. As the president of the Ellevate Dubai Chapter, the world’s oldest businesswomen’s network, I was instrumental in growing its membership from 30 to 400 and significantly increasing the number of annual events, making it the most active chapter outside the United States.
As the Regional Champion of Women at the Oliver Wyman Network, I am dedicated to increasing female representation in top jobs within the private sector. I am exploring what women need to achieve these positions and how we can ensure they have access to these resources and support to maintain their roles.
